Slit Show

 
Slit Show is a revealing solo in process by and with Karis Zidore.

Slit Show cuts through the masquerade of the exterior and slides along the slits of the interior. It’s a dance for a theater and an open mouth. An inner song longing to be seen. A tease for the space between curtain and coming.

With Slit Show Karis Zidore investigates the (e)motions of revealing and stripping down using body, sound, moaning and opera. Who’s that slit? It’s the girl with no door on her mouth!

Slit Show will premiere at Kedelhuset/Dansehallerne in October 2024.
